Ideal Itinenary

Day1

Get a glimpse back in time of the Edo period (Old Tokyo) by walking the historical trail, “Tōkaidō road”. Immerse yourself in 17th century Japan at the well-preserved Japanese tea house, tasting the best Amazake; a traditional low-alcohol drink made from fermented rice.

Day2

Hike along Lake Ashinoko with the majestic view of Mount Fuji. Don’t miss the view of Mount Komagatake, reflecting beautifully on the surface of the lake. After hiking, rejuvenate yourself in a pure hot spring bath without any filtration or additives.

Day 3

Take a hike through the remains of Yusakaji, also known as the Old Kamakura Trail, which was built as a means to cross the mountains of Hakone around the 12th century (way before the Edo period!). Make sure to watch the Chisuji Falls along the way, another must-see attraction in Hakone.
