Day1

Day2-3

Pass under the Great Seto Bridge, which amazingly stretches about 13 kilometers. You will be landing on Naoshima Island and other neighboring islands. Naoshima Island is an island full of contemporary art represented by the iconic ‘Yellow pumpkin’ by Yayoi Kusama. Later on, embark on the floating hotel, guntû.

Day4

I'm back from the Seto Inland Sea cruise with guntû.
After staying one night at a beautiful ocean view hotel, Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi, we went on board guntû and departed from the hotel's marina. Every staff gave us a warm welcome and guided us to each cabin kindly.
This new central route offers an experience of the history and nature of both western and eastern Setouchi. We experienced the tidal current boat tour to see one of the fastest currents in Japan, Kurushima Strait. We could see several ruins of castles that were built by the Samurai of the sea called the Murakami Navy who dominated the islands and conquered the whole Seto Inland Sea.
The next day, we visited Mt. Shiude, which rises from a peninsula in Kagawa to see the spectacular scenery. Cherry blossoms bloomed so early this year but we could still see them and also peach blossoms and peonies were blooming.
At last, we went to Chichibugahama, where the water reflects the sky like a mirror. It was a wonderful cruise that made everyone want to come back again.
